This holder is made of stained wood.
Incense should ALWAYS be burned using a safe, heat-resistant, stable holder on a non-flammable surface. These holders are the most widely known and are used by inserting the wood end of the incense stick into the single hole at the curved end. The stick should line up to the holder at an angle, allowing the ash to fall directly onto the holder and not surrounding surfaces.
After the incense has completely burned out, allow the remaining wood stick to cool completely before removing. Also, do not remove any ash from the holder until cooled completely. To clean after use, simply wipe with a damp cloth and allow to air dry.
Beaman’s Fork Soap Co. is not responsible for incorrect and unsafe use of these incense holders.
